My friend DK introduced me to a wonderful song from the soundtrack to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The world needs more Burt Bacharach, sweet Burt Bacharach.
After finishing the beat, I was trying to learn knowledge on the web, and I found an article about testing the fidelity of your home speaker system. One of the tests involved playing through about two octaves of bass frequencies to see if your room’s resonance makes the volumes uneven. It turns out my room makes low Ds and Eb’s really loud, which is probably why in this beat I mistakenly turned the bass notes at 40 seconds way down.
The drum part is a breakbeat I found on the web.

I’ve noticed that Eb is a pretty common resonance point for walls and mid-sized rooms.
You can also try putting your head in the corner of a resonant room and try to make your skull vibrate.
Then if you sing a different note with your voice you can get your head to start vibrating at two frequencies!
Try 4ths and 5ths, those intervals seem to involve fewer demons and more pleasant cross-dimensional travel.
